Jeremy Palmer

Jeremy is Chief Executive of QuantumBlack, an advanced analytics firm operating at the intersection of strategy, technology & design to improve performance outcomes for organisations. Acquired by McKinsey & Co. in 2015, QuantumBlack started life in the world of Formula One before codifying their analytical approach into a platform and a process called NERVE, which has been successfully deployed in a diverse range of sectors, including advanced industries, finance and healthcare. With over thirty years of leadership and management experience, Jeremy has previously held leadership positions with Salomon Brothers, JP Morgan, ING Barings and UBS. Prior to joining QuantumBlack in 2014, he advised and led a number of early- stage creative and technology businesses, balancing a deep understanding of the challenges facing large complex organisations in times of change, with the experience of establishing a strong culture and growth framework in small businesses needing to grow fast yet stay nimble. Jeremy is Chair of Career Ready, a national charity dedicated to preparing young people for work, and East London Arts and Music, a school located in East London. He is also Treasurer of the National Art Collections Fund (Art Fund). He studied at Magdalen College, Oxford.
