Roberto Fantoni is a partner at McKinsey & Company, having worked in the New York and São Paulo offices. Since joining the Firm in 1996, he has served clients in Latin America, Europe and North America and has done extensive work with family-owned conglomerates and companies in the basic materials industry.
Roberto focuses on issues related to Portfolio Strategy, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions. He is leader of McKinsey’s Corporate Finance & Strategy and Basic Materials practices in Latin America.
Before joining McKinsey, Roberto was an Associate at Bear, Stearns & Co., a New York investment bank, and at Banco BBA Creditanstalt as a fixed income trader.
Roberto Fantoni has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
