Rami Goldfajn is an RTS Partner at McKinsey’s São Paulo office who has led several turnarounds, acted as CEO and CFO and as a Board Director of several companies.
As CEO after Chapter 11 filing, Rami led a successful crisis management and turnaround of one of the largest dairy companies in Brazil. As CEO and CFO, he led the restructuring and successful turnaround of a large Brazilian public food company and conducted the sale process and merge with the market leader.
He was the former Partner of a turnaround & Interim management consultancy in Brazil, led the restructuring and a successful turnaround of one the most important Brazilian media groups, acting also as interim CFO, and participated in the largest merger in Brazil’s food industry as Board Director in the committee that negotiated and supervised the merge process.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Rami was a Senior Advisor for the main Brazilian Private Equity firm and former partner of a Private Equity firm. He was also Board Director of several public and private companies in the building materials, food & beverage, publishing, logistic and financial services sectors.
Rami holds a BSc in Production Engineering, an MBA from COPPEAD/Brazil and attended the Wharton School at the Penn University and INSEAD in France. He is also a Certified Board Director from IBGC and from INSEAD. Rami is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Hebrew.
