Pedro Guimarães is a Partner of McKinsey & Company in the São Paulo Office and leads McKinsey geographic expansion in the South of Brazil. He is one of the leaders of the Marketing & Sales Practice in LatAm, where he leads the Sales & Channel Service Line. Since he joined the firm 14 years ago, he has led major transformations in different industries, such as CPG, retail banking and agribusiness. He is also very experienced in growth strategies, public management, apparel & retail operations, channel management and FOB governance.
His recent projects include transformation and review of operational models and strategies with very positive results. Besides that, Pedro worked on the strategic planning of the municipalities of Salvador and Rio de Janeiro, helping promote a more transparent management and the achievement of priority initiatives.
Pedro holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD, in France, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from USP. He is fluent in English and Spanish, has basic knowledge of French, in addition to Portuguese, his native language.
