Partner, McKinsey

Joana joined McKinsey at the Lisbon office in 2007 and is currently a Partner at São Paulo office, where she is also a core member of the Media and Telecom Practice and member of the Digital and Marketing Practices, leading the JV between the both.

Joana has led several projects in Latin America, especially in the media and telecommunications industry, involving business transformations, cost optimization, strategies for dealing with the OTT market, strategies to assess M&A options and the launch of a new TV channel, organizational structure reviews, among other.

Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Joana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto, Portugal) and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (Boston, USA) with distinction.
