Diana Africano Clark

Associate Partner, Mckinsey

Diana is creation lead with a clear vision of the intersection between the physical and digital worlds.  As leader of Veryday (part of McKinsey Design), Diana is responsible for the product team.

She has led cross-functional design teams for more than 15 years, training and challenging in-house and client teams in generating insights focused on design strategies, user experience, prototype development and participative processes.

Diana and the Veryday team received the Red Dot award presented to the best design team of the year, as well as many others during this period.  Diana has worked with global clients such as IKEA, Electrolux, Volvo, Samsung, TeliaSonera, Skånetrafiken, PepsiCo and P&G Gillette. She teaches classes regularly at Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden and is a guest speaker in various programs about design around the world.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Diana was a partner in Veryday. She also worked as a researcher and designer of interactions at Interaction Design Lab in Sweden and at Mads Clausen Institute for Product Innovation (Denmark), having also worked professionally as an industrial designer in Spain and Colombia.

Diana stands out in multicultural environments and her love for diversity begins with her own family; her husband and two children have Colombian, American, Danish, Venezuelan and Swedish backgrounds.
