Audrey Bernardo joined McKinsey’s U.S. west coast office in 2011 and is currently Associate Partner in the São Paulo office and leader of the Operations Practice. Her work encompasses several industries with a focus on advanced industries, whereby she possesses vast experience in zero base budget transformations. She has supported clients in several countries, including Brazil, Argentina, United States and United Kingdom.
Recent projects include several zero-base-budget and lean transformations, cost reduction & operational improvement projects, leadership of the Integration Management Office pertaining to an important merger, having also co-led the Brazil Model Factory, the first plant in Latin America created as a training center to boost productivity in the region.
Audrey has a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from MIT, an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University She was a fellow of MIT’s Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) and conducted research for her strategic supply-chain thesis in emerging markets at aircraft components manufacturer Spirit Aerosystems.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Audrey worked with private equity and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). With English as native tongue, Audrey also speaks fluent Portuguese.
